Blue Smoke Bloody Mary

A bold and flavorful take on the classic Bloody Mary cocktail featuring a complex blend of tomato juice, brines, and spices. Perfect for brunch or entertaining, this cocktail is garnished with pickled vegetables for an extra kick.

Ingredients

  • •2 quarts tomato juice
  • •½ cup lemon juice
  • •½ cup pickled okra brine
  • •½ cup olive brine
  • •⅓ cup horseradish
  • •⅓ cup soy sauce
  • •2 tablespoons celery seeds
  • •2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • •1 tablespoon Tabasco Chipotle sauce
  • •2 teaspoons black pepper
  • •½ teaspoon powdered crab boil
  • •4 cups vodka
  • •12 pieces pickled green beans
  • •12 pieces pickled okra
  • •12 stalks celery

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1.

    Whisk tomato juice, lemon juice, okra brine, olive brine, horseradish, soy sauce, celery seeds, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco Chipotle sauce, pepper, and crab boil in a large bowl or pitcher. Chill at least 2 hours or up to overnight.

    Add vodka to tomato juice mixture; stir well. Serve cocktail in glasses over ice and garnish with green beans, okra, and celery.
